The South Carolina Gamecocks seem unstoppable, and at 23-0, that might very well be the case.
Their odds to win the women’s college basketball national championship are currently +160 after defeating No. 11 UConn 83-65 over the weekend.
The defending champion LSU Tigers have won three straight games and are second on the board at +800.
Tied with the Tigers at second is Iowa. The Hawkeyes’ odds lengthened slightly to +800 from +700 after they fell 82-79 to Nebraska on Feb. 11.
Though their odds to win it all got longer, all eyes are still on Caitlin Clark — the 6-foot senior who leads the country in both points and assists per contest with 32.1 ppg and 8.3 assists.
With her at the helm, Iowa is 22-3 on the season and second in the Big Ten.
Fans and bettors are now watching to see when Clark will break the women’s scoring record set by Kelsey Plum. Currently, Caitlin is eight points shy of making history.
